Dragrace test 0-200m Kartskins vs normal suit
After the windtunnel test, track test and speedtest we did another test to measure how much faster the Kartskin suits are.
On a very hot day in june 2023 , we set up a 0-200m drag strip with split times at 100m , 150m and 200m. This way we could measure how much faster the suits are without a possible driver misstake on a normal track , tires warming up and track warming up. From a standstill , they went flatout in the same driving position with both suits
M. Grooten ( double worldchampion ) with a HRX suit and A.Coudron ( a local champion )with a Alpinestars suit did 30 0 0-200m runs with the normal suit and 30 runs with a Kartskins suit. They changed suits every 10 runs.
Both drivers set faster times everytime they put on the skinsuit. On average , Antoine was 0.0517s faster and Mathias was 0.0399 faster.
So on a standstill run from 0-200m of only 16 secs we can assume that on the Kartskins suit is significantly faster than a normal suit.
