Kartskins prototype testing @ Worldkarts Kortrijk

Very first test to see if the kartskins are faster than a normal suit...

On april 24th we did the 1st real life test with the Kartskins prototypes from Bioracer. High tech aerodynamic fabrics from cycling were used on the body and the sleeves were with their fastest Aerostripe fabric.

Two drivers performed the same test. Mathias Grooten ( Double world champion ) and Nicolas Laridon ( a very fast local driver )

They each did 100 laps total , 50 laps with their normal karting suit and 50 laps with the Kartskins suit. They switched outfits every 10 laps. So 10 laps normal suit , 10 laps Kartskins suit, 10 laps normal suits, …

Both drivers set a faster lap everytime they put on the Kartskins suit. Eventually when tires and kart were all warmed up, they both did a fastest lap with the Kartskins suit that was almost 0.1s faster than with their normal suit.
